Veyron

Veyron began her artistic career as a ceramist. For a time, she set aside this activity to devote herself to painting. Her canvases evoke silence, mysterious spaces—intense and solid—where the mineral element takes up all the space.

Inhabiting the Landscape

A Landscape of Silence

Painting landscapes, for me, is a tribute to the earth, to the beauty of nature.

Like the titles of my paintings:

  • Morning Mist After the Rain
  • Vast Expanses
  • At the Whim of the Source
  • Earthly Movements
  • Along the Furrows
  • Wild Grasses
  • The Song of the Field

This new experience reveals sensations,

Textures, layers, boundaries, surfaces,

Relationships between colors…

“A field is nothing but a vast, incised surface. It is also, in a way, a claim over the land: these lines that eventually create a surface…”

— Raoul Ubac

These are natures of landscapes—untouched, preserved, suspended between sky and earth,

Where my mind wanders beyond the horizon line.

It is an inner journey, a meditation, a renewal of the soul.
