Moreno Pincas
Born in 1936 in Vidin in Bulgaria, a very ancient city on the Danube, Moreno Pincas experiences exile in Israel and later in Paris where he arrives in 1960 shortly after graduating from the Avni Art Institute in Tel Aviv. He is therefore influenced in his art by diverse and intermingled cultures. He constantly offers us very varied scenes of life where dreams and reality mix.
A multitude of themes illustrate his paintings, rich in characters and colorful scenes. Amazingly realistic, its stalls, its social receptions, its circuses, groups of characters sketched from life, in an abundance of details reminiscent of the great Flemish painters.
